Tripod - Leg Support
This portion of the tripod is necessary to hold all of the legs at equal degrees of slant toward the top. Without the leg spreader, the tripod shifts and rotates. I made the triangular piece, as you can see from my sloppy welds. The small pieces of metal above the nuts and bolts in the picture below at left keep the triangle from dropping to the ground.
